Corrections policy:

The New Mexico News Port strives to be accurate and fair in all of our reporting. Please notify editor Kate Nash at nmnewsport@gmail.com of any reporting that does not meet those standards. The News Port aims to correct factual errors in a timely manner.[/vc_column_text][vc_column_text]

Why some stories are not published:

You may have worked with a student on a story that ultimately was not published. One possible reason for this is that the work didn’t meet our publication standards. In other cases we may use some but not all elements of a story package. In the case of election coverage, we aim to cover both candidates of a particular race equally, but an imbalance could result if coverage is withheld to maintain quality standards.[/vc_column_text][/vc_column][/vc_row]
