QUESTION IN PROGRESS

Question: What are the little free libraries across town?

What we’ve learned:

Little Free Libraries is an organization that sets up small boxed “libraries” across the nation (and the world) where anyone can take a book, or leave a book, for free.

UNM engineering students from the Fabrications Lab entered a contest to design little free libraries to set up across town. And last September Mountain Mahogany Community School set up 10.

There are a number of registered and un-registered libraries across the state and in Albuquerque.

What we still need to learn:

Exactly how many libraries are there in Albuquerque?

Who and how many people visit them?

Which UNM students’ design was made in the Fab Lab?
